SOAP2 ("SOAP2", "we", "us") is developed and distributed by its author, Bruno Voisin (soap.2.bv@gmail.com). These Terms of Service govern your use of the SOAP2 desktop application and the soap2.dev website.
Payments for paid editions of SOAP2 are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, acting as Merchant of Record. Paddle handles billing, invoicing, payment collection, sales tax/VAT, and refunds on our behalf under Paddle's Buyer Terms. These SOAP2 Terms of Service govern the software itself; Paddle's own terms govern the payment transaction.
SOAP2 ("Simple Options Analysis Platform") is a Windows desktop application that connects to your own Interactive Brokers Trader Workstation (TWS) or IB Gateway installation to display options chain analysis, risk graphs, volatility surfaces, and related trading-workflow tools. SOAP2 is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Interactive Brokers LLC. Interactive Brokers and TWS are trademarks of Interactive Brokers LLC.
SOAP2 does not place trades, hold funds, or have access to your brokerage account credentials — it connects only to a TWS/IB Gateway instance you control locally. SOAP2 does not provide backtesting or strategy optimization. Options trading involves substantial risk and is not suitable for all investors. Nothing in SOAP2 or on this website constitutes investment, financial, or trading advice.
SOAP2 is offered in several editions (Freeware, Regular, Premium, WhiteLabel) described on the Editions & pricing page. Regular and Premium are paid, auto-renewing subscriptions billed monthly or annually, as selected at checkout. Freeware is free and has no expiry. See our Refund Policy for cancellation and refund terms.
A subscription license activates on a limited number of machines ("seats") at a time, as described at checkout and in the Licensing & Editions guide. You may deactivate a machine yourself to free a seat for another device.
A Regular or Premium subscriber can share a referral link or code. When a new customer subscribes to a paid edition with it and is still a paying, non-refunded customer 14 days after the first payment, the referrer receives free subscription days: one month when the referred edition costs at least as much as the referrer's own, otherwise the fraction of a month equal to the price ratio (for example 12 days for a Premium subscriber referring a Regular plan, at list prices). The days postpone the referrer's next payment, or extend a complimentary licence; they have no cash value. There is no reward for referring yourself or a returning customer, and none if the referrer has no active licence when the reward falls due. We may refuse or reverse rewards obtained through abuse.
SOAP2 is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that computed values (Greeks, implied volatility, P&L, risk graphs, or any other analytics) are accurate or fit for any particular trading decision. You are solely responsible for verifying any figures before acting on them.
SOAP2 is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. You are solely responsible for your use of SOAP2, for the configuration of your system, and for the accuracy of any data you enter into, or that is processed or generated by, SOAP2.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the SOAP2 author is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including trading losses, loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, or commercial loss, arising out of or related to:
Our sole obligation is to provide access to SOAP2 in accordance with its standard technical documentation. Under no circumstances does our total aggregate liability exceed the amounts you actually paid for your SOAP2 subscription in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
We may suspend or terminate a license for violation of these terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time; see the Refund Policy for what happens to access after cancellation.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above. Continued use of SOAP2 after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of France, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of France, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under the law of your own country of residence.
